The Health Centre has a great deal of information on health related issues. This information is in both written and A/V mode and we would be delighted to loan out any of our resources to you.

The Presidents' Learning Centre is funded and supported by the PHHC Auxiliary. It is dedicated to all the Past Presidents of the Auxiliary and there is a plaque at the door listing the names of all Past Presidents. This room is a library and resource centre for the public to use. You can borrow material to take home and read or watch or, you can watch videos and DVDs here. The room can be used for small group counselling sessions, either with one of the nurses or the dietician who attends on a regular basis for consultations.
The room is directly across from the Lab. We will be delighted to help you find what you are looking for and, if we don't have the material here, we will find the information for you and make sure that you get it. We have a large section on Diabetes, Cancers, Nutrition, Depression and other items which may be of interest to you and we can provide you with internet sites that you can peruse at home.
If you want to discuss questions with a nurse or dietician we ask that you make an appointment so that we can allot the necessary time to your session.
Please let us know how we can make this room and material better for you. It can be a place where the entire community can resource their health education needs.
